This week's Answer:
Wait?
Me? Don't Be Absurd Have
you read the play, "Waiting for Godot" by Samuel
Beckett? It's a play of the Theatre of the Absurd about
two men who wait for the arrival of someone named "Godot,"
but he never comes. I recommend you read it and think of
the Godot character as a producer. Contacting
a producer, Inviting a producer (to read your
script), responding to a producer, sending
your script to a producer who has requested it.... all
very fine. Even accepting a check from a producer
for your script. (We all like that one.) But waiting
for a producer...? You
may as well wait for Godot. Doug
