This week's question:

Dch, now that the WGA strike is on, should I just stop writing until its over?

Gaudi

This week's answer:

Striking Writing Out of Your Life

You could do that, Gaudi:  cease all writing until the writers' strike is over.  But, if you really want to support the union screenwriters, you could make an "on strike" sign and picket in front of your desk and computer to dissuade you from crossing the picket line and sitting down to write.  That should remind you what your position is now on screenwriting while the strike is on and, if you honor your picket line, then you'll be completely supporting your non-writing position.

You can even get up early and bring donuts to yourself.
